What is the Clark Fork Watershed?
The Clark Fork River and its tributaries drain most of western Montana. The upper river and headwaters were heavily impacted by wastes from over a century of mining. Today, the area is the largest Superfund environmental clean-up site in the nation.

The International Mountain Bicycling Association is coming to Butte, Montana on June 8, 9, and 10. Ryan Schutz and Kristin Butcher of the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew will be in Butte for a Trailbuilding School. The Crews teach “sustainable” trail building, which means building trails that last a long time and require minimal maintenance. This helps reduce trail damage, protects the environment, and enhances visitor enjoyment.

Please feel free to join us for all or a portion of this class.  Space has been limited to 20 for the trail building school on Saturday.

Registration is free, lunch on Saturday and barbeques are free to those that attend, and donations are welcome.

Please RSVP online: go.imba.com/butte
