(Bonner) - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is conducting a public meeting to discuss the replacement of the Highway 200 bridge located over the Blackfoot River in Milltown with a new bridge. MDT will also discuss traffic routing options in this area during construction.
The staff from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will also be present at the meeting. The meeting will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 15 at the Bonner School Gym, 9045 Highway 200 in Bonner.
Community participation is very important to this project, and the public is encouraged to attend. Preserving the economy, safety and health of the community is a top priority for MDT in advancing this project. Opinion, comments and concerns may also be submitted in writing at the meeting, by mail to Stephanie Brandenberger, Bridge Seismic Engineer, MDT, 2701 Prospect Avenue, Helena, MT 59620-1001 or online at www.mdt.mt.gov/mdt/comment_form.shtml.
