The Butte High School Environmental Biology Class

The students in Butte High School's Environmental Biology class, taught by Montana Water Teacher of the Year and CFWEP Advisory Board member Bill Callaghan, represent the best of what CFWEP is all about. These students have volunteered to work on CFWEP field trips, serving as mentors for other students, even in inhospitable weather. They have also taken an active role in their environment by working on independent research projects, often with practical, real-world components. For example, the students have helped in willow revegetation on Silver Bow Creek.

The class includes Butte High students Kaylee Barnett, Jacob Buckley, Sarah Butorovich, Robert Carver, Zachary Coulombe, Meagan Fraser, Dylan Griffin, Joshua Hansen, Cassandra Harvey, Allison Knoell, Mia Lillyblad, Travis Raiha, and Eric Talbott.

Thank you to all of these students for their dedication and commitment to their community!
